Great resort, ok room. No walks/jogs on beach. The private beach is great b/c you do not have to worry about somebody taking your things. The bar/food was great and right on the beach. The pool was nice but small. The other Wyndham resort is a 3 minute walk, has more pools, and available to all guests. The suite was not more luxurious. The rooms are nicely decorated and clean, but have bad mattresses and shower heads. They are renovating some of the furniture and the exercise room this fall/winter but they did not list the mattress. There is not central a/c, so you have to listen to a loud a/c unit all night. Sign-up for their member program before you book to get free wine&cheese, room upgrades, late check-out, free wi-fi. The location is in a quiet area. Great for families. Bottom line, the resort is great but the room is sub-par.

Beware of the servibar.. We were very satisfied with our room, the view and the sandy beach. The employees were available to answer any questions. This property is adjacent to a clothing optional motel, so be prepared if you are offended by nudity. The only negative thing was the prices for the items in the servibar. $2.50 for a $.65 candy bar and $4.00 for 2 cups of coffee was a little steep. Go to the little store across the street and save your money for the food prices in the restaurant.
