We stayed in the standard room--overlooking the gardens and tennis court. Bed linens and curtains are updated, Pretty view, even though not an ocean view. Pretty spot on the beach with plenty of room to yourself for sunning. Two pools--one with hot tub.

friends and I stayed here for a weekend wedding. very keys-ish in style, feels welcoming. free decent breakfast buffet, resort fee includes renting of kayaks, water bikes, etc. villa had 2 double bed a pull out couch full kitchen with full fridge. pools, hammocks, outside bar-ish area where you can bring your own drinks and chill... I thought it was a nice place to stay

This hotel has an incredible location. The grounds are large with 2 pools, hot tub, tennis courts, etc. There are water activities at hand and hammocks to relax. It is absolutely beautiful.

Enjoyed our stay at Chesapeake, great location, right on the water, great sunrise view. Went with a group of friends lots of space in the villa. Pool and hot tub were nice. Loved relaxing on the hammocks. Walking distance to good bars.

The Chespeake is probably the best resort value in the Islamorada area. Our stay included windy and coolish weather for March and we were so glad the pool was nicely heated and we made good use of the hot tub. The rooms are clean and the beds comfy.We have stayed at the Chesapeake several times and we will stay there again on our next visit to the Keys.

We found this place just driving by. We booked one night and ended up staying to. We loved this place. Very beautiful grounds, on the ocean, great pools, room was clean, bed was comfy.

I returned to the resort in March and spent a beautiful week. It is the best place to relax, enjoy the sun and the palm trees. And while I was there they were in the process of changing all the mattresses to double pillow top. !!! How comfortable is that !!! This time I stayed in a villa right by the lagoon and every morning, first thing, I would walk out and dive into the lagoon. What a beautiful refreshing start to the day. I spent most of the day on "the point" with my pad and pencil. In the evening there are great restaurants nearby and the stone crabs were fabulous! It is a place of my heart that draws me back continuously. It is the first choice on my list of "paradise."

Very clean, nice rooms. Resort property is great with pool, hot tub, and free non-motorized sport activities. Beach area is beautiful, but not for swimming. The beaches are rocky, but most are in the keys. Great half way stop on your way to Key West. I would definitely recommend this resort.
