This place sucks! Rented a scooter, best price we could find but now I understand why. Should have said no thank you when he pulled out the scooter that came with its own screw driver! They said it was for the seat, when he had a hard time starting it I really should have just walked away. We had it for 3 hours, parked it outside of sloppy Joe's in motorcycle parking and when we tried to leave it wouldn't start. We tried calling them so they could pick it up and no answer, not even a machine. We finally got a hold of them in the morning and by that time they got a parking ticket. They tried to tell us that it wasn't their problem that it wouldn't start and even went as far as blaming us and accusing us of lying about why it wouldn't start! They couldn't even start it so they reluctantly gave us $30 back...we paid $65 for the rental for 24 hours and got 4. These people were rude and their customer service was non-existant, and we got stuck with the ticket! DO NOT RENT SCOOTERS FROM THESE GUYS!!!
Ridiculous. I unfortunately have to give a star to this business because the posting of a review requires it. Unbelievably poor attitudes. The place is a complete filthy mess and reflects the way the business is run. A sign hanging from the ceiling says something like "We need your business". Big joke.
A Look inside the windows says it all. Stacks of paper sprawled around the office, one mechanic named Willie buried amongst a sea of broken down motor bikes, and people (including myself) still make the mistake of buying from this guy. Don't do it!! That large room that look's like a used scooter show room is not a show room at all. Although this dealership carries great products it is horrifically crippled by the mismanagement of its owner Victor. When given the option of repairing a problem vs band aiding it he will band aid every time condemning you to daily phone calls and shop visits. In my case this went on for nearly a year until I cut my loses and sold my scooter for a buck just to be done with it. He doesn't do this because he needs or want the repeat business. Victor and therefor his mechanic are just just sloppy is all. When you are lucky enough to actually get a hold of Victor he will say just about anything to temporarily get you off is back. Cancer, sick mother, distributor out of business, and on and on. Every time he says it will be ready in a day or two though! If you decide to go ahead with a purchase go in knowing your best option is to tow your purchase up to the mainland for any type of warranty work. To make matters worse local mechanics can't even get parts for some of the brands he carries since they are not "authorized dealers". Just ask around, Victor is infamous around the island. He probably was able to do the right thing by people back in the early day's. His inability to expand and delegate over the years has caused much heart ache for those who's scooters are their primary source of transportation. A simple look around the dealership says it all, listen to what your gut says and don't be blinded by the shiny new scoot. There are other dealerships which may not have your number one choice in scoot, but at least you will be able to get the thing repaired.
