Terrible Service. Service is awful at this place. Food is ok if you want large portions without much nuance. There are many better choices on Key West

A great place to eat in Key West!. Terrific food and great atmosphere. We ate here with friends while in Key West for a wedding. None of us were disappointed with our food or the service. The staff is friendly and service is prompt. We actually needed to change our reservations a few times, and they were very accomodating. They have wonderful martini's (the white chocolate martini is fantastic - I had several!). The Filet Al Forno was excellent - cooked just right. Their signature dessert - Chocolate Volcano - is to die for! I have to admit, that is why we ate there. I looked up restaurants online before we went to Key West, and when I found Michaels and read about their dessert, I just had to try it. I was not disappointed! I want to go back to Key West just to dine here again! I would definitely recommend dining at Michaels if you are ever in Key West.

My favorite restaurant in Key West. Having moved here from NYC, I wasn't expecting much in the quality-restaurant-dining experience-category, but Michael's is definitely one of the best restaurants I've ever had the pleasure of dining in. They are famous for their "meat and potatoes" menu (the Filet al Forno and Cowboy Steak are incredible), but at the same time, the nightly specials are wonderfully crafted from the fresh catches of the day from the Florida Keys waters. (Look for hogfish snapper or black grouper in season ... !) They have the best staff and the most relaxed, comfortable and classy atmosphere around. And the best part is it's not on busy Duval Street - you have to really work to find it the first time! Treat yourself to a great martini (served with a sidecar on ice). The Chocolate Volcano dessert they're famous for, but also the nightly selection of Creme Brulee is fantastic, too.

Exceptional. I lived in NYC, Philadelphia, and San Francisco as well as having travelled to most other cities in the country and this is one of my top places to eat in the country if not the top. We go to Key West to eat here and end up eating there more than once.

Wow. Wow, what a meal! from start to finish, all was superb. The staff is friendly and attentive and the food was outstanding! great job! I'll be back for sure.

Spectacular desserts. The only really great place to get a steak on the island if you a meat & potatoes type of person. For the high cholesterol crowd, you won't find a better dessert. Very knowledgeable staff, attentive.
