Well Done On Several Levels. I have been to three body shops in Key West to have work done on my GMC Duramax 2500. It needed freshening up scratches and door dings...

One shop never got back with me, The other did (after Vern and Tommy were Done)....

Vern and Tommy were fast on estimate and accurate.

Truck looks fab and they even worked with local Niles dealership (amazing feat in itself) to get warrantee work covered for body problem on truck.

A small problem with my sirius satellite hook up where the antennae plug was messed up.. They fixed it no charge just because they were near it doing repairs..

I will also have them work on my BMW and Porsche if need be..

Shop clean and customer service is friendly..

These guys are great!. These guys are great! Tommy is hands on and make sure you are happy every step of the way. He told me my car would be done on set date and it was. It is good to see this attentiion from a local place with the owner being on top of things. I will definatly keep them on my list as best repair shop!

The other guys can't hang with this place!

repairs were fixed with added new ones. I took my truck in for a fender repair (small scratch and dent) the completed work looked amazing, however after further inspection of my truck I noticed the shop had given me some extra damages to my mirror and rear bumper. I confronted Tommy about the damages and was told they by him that he was pretty sure it didn't happen there. after the conversation Tommy agreed to make things right and repair the extra damages for me, but I declined due to another day without having a vehicle and scared of even more damage being caused a second time. I think Tommy is a pretty straight forward and honest guy, however the integrity of his employees to cover things up and just push a product out the door is to be questioned. Dont make the mistake I made and focus only on the repairs, inspect the entire vehicle before leaving. I would also suggest taking pictures before dropping off your vehicle.

Fantastic Work. I was very pleased with the work I had done at Vern and Tommy's. Uber-friendly customer service isn't necessarily their forte, but the body work they did turned out great. They also detailed the inside, which was a very pleasant surprise. Vern and Tommy's definitely exceeded my expectations.

Don't let Eric Slavik (bodyman/painter) do any side work!. Eric Slavik took over 3K of my money in 2007 to do the bodywork and paint my car. He never finished the job and moved 9 hours away to key west. He left my car with the hood and glass out of it under a tarp outside for the last 18 months at his wife's house. The battery and Alternator went bad, the inside is all moldy now, I just want my car finished! Eric keeps saying he'll finish it over and over but never follows through. I wish I had the money to just have it done by a "True" professional...

Bottom line is, if Eric tells you he can save you the deductible, or do it for less, don't trust him. You will pay for it, one way or another.

To Vern or Tommy: Why don't you give Eric a week off so he can finish my car!
