A luxurious and ultra-romantic private getaway.. The Scene
This island can only be reached by seaplane or boat, and those under the age of 16 are not allowed. The lush landscape is filled with trees with songbirds, while the decor is British Colonial, giving the overall effect of a wealthy Caribbean hideaway. The majority of guests come here to spend downtime on the beach with a partner. Many weddings have been held in this picturesque spot.

The Details
Each of the 28 thatched-roof bungalows has a veranda and a view of ocean. The rooms do not contain telephones or TVs. Instead the focus is on romance, with king-sized, four-poster beds with canopies and mosquito netting. The bathrooms are equipped with whirlpool baths and the on-site spa's specialty products. Mahogany furnishings and golden-colored walls are lit by an abundance of candles. The dining room is candle-lit, as well, and the local deer have been known to creep up to it occasionally. Its menu features Florida-French fusion--lobster croissants and salad Nicoise, as well as conch salad and the obligatory Key-lime pie. Water sports such as deep-sea fishing and sailing are available.
