Be sure someone in your party orders a basket of fries (don't be stingy with the vinegar), a lemonade, and the chikitiki sandwich. The hush puppies and the key lime chicken caesar pita is pretty good too.

Neat little find. When driving back from Key West we were looking for a good place to eat. We decided to stop at the local Kmart to see if we could get a recommendation (there really wasn't anywhere else to ask) from a local. We picked the guy wearing a tie (had to be a local, who else is wearing a tie in the Keys?) he recommended Burdines. It takes a bit to get there, you need to drive through the marina & it doesn't look like much on the outside. But it has great views of boats drifting past, good food, great service & really good Key Lime pie. Definitely a place to stop on a return trip.
