ONLY GOOD FOR DRINKS. This place is a historical peice of key west yeah we get it but they should still try to keep the place clean ! its got a great view but there food sucks ! and from what i heard its infested with RATS !! You can obviously tell they mainly focuse on the bar and theve clearly let the restaurant go...

Key West A+. We have been to the Keys many times and the one place that we have to go to is Schooner Wharf Bar. No, it isn't fancy or stuffy... it's Key West at its finest. The food is good, the service is friendly and the music is fantastic. We go to Schooners to sit outside and relax and get away from the hot crowded noisy bars. A trip isn't complete without seeing Michael McCloud or Caffine Carl at lease two or three times. If you like a laid back relaxing place to go, DON'T MISS THE SCHOONER WHARF BAR

Not impressed. I normally love dive bars, but this one didn't settle well at all. Ordered a mojito rather than a beer for once - it was horrible, it tasted rotten(mint leaves were all brown). I told the waiter to get me a beer instead. He took a swig and swished it around in his mouth and said it tasted fine to him (the appearance on his face agreed with my reaction to the drink) He appeared p!ssed when he pitched it, quite a display for us sitting right behind him when he done so. I agree, it's a dump with a view.

dump with a view!!!. I should have waited the half hour till the Conch Republic opened for lunch!! I was hungover and the dips**t waiter would not shut up!! Food was not that good at all, then some old dude started playing music after we got there and all I wanted to do was eat bfast in a relaxing atmosphere!! This may be a good place to drink cheaper than at the CR, but I won't go back!!

great view but forget the food. big locals hang out so I thought it would be good. turns out only thing the locals are doing there is drinking. forget the food. it's cold and it takes forever. the fries are cooked in what tastes like yesterday's grease. not a restaurant for kids!
