A disappointment.
My husband and I wanted to have a romantic dinner outside and experience the beautiful Florida sunset. We decided on Hot Tin Roof. We were seated upstairs overlooking the harbor. The atmosphere and view were breathtaking. Even though it was a warm evening, The fans and the ocean breeze made it pleasant. The waiters were pleasant and efficient. That being said, our food was a complete disappointment. My husband's "jumbo lump crabmeat" crabcakes. were not jumbo lump and were %75 bread stuffing. My Tataki Tuna appetizer was tough and stringy. My husband chose the special- a yellowtail tuna with eggplant and curry, which was dried out. My pan seared grouper was also dry and fishy. We had ordered a bottle of white wine which was served at room temp. and took an hour and a half to chill. Without tip, the bill was $150---somewhat pricey for a beautiful sunset.
