Key West is not exactly known as a
hotbed for pizza which is the only reason a lame pizza joint like this can survive there.
We ordered one simple cheese pizza which took about thiry minutes for them to carryout to us. It is hard to imagine that it took that long, and because this place is so low brow and no-frills you see the workers making the pizza right in front of you. The ingredients looks like a fest of generic ingredients.
When we finally got our pizza it was very bland and nothing like the great, flavorful pizza we get at our local Italian restaurant. Not to mention Upper Crust is very pricey for what you get- $3.50 for a slice of pizza, $14 for a small pizza. High prices with slow service and second-rate pizza is a recipe for disaster!

Cranky Service, Mis-Marked Prices.
When Walking the Duval Street its not uncommon to take a look at menus as you pass by the restaurants looking for something that catches your eye. Upper Crust would appeared to have a nice selection of pizza's and we went in to order one. The price was higher then Expected, and when asked why, the rude lady behind the counter told us "that's what the machine says" She would not provide a manager, and would not honor the price posted on the menu posted at the door, copies of these menus where next to the register as well.
I like businesses I patronize to be honest, I wonder how many unsuspecting tourist ordered and ate, before they got a bill higher then the prices on the menu they ordered from.

Worst Experience EVER!!!!.
Do not waste your time with this pizza joint, go to Apollos. I was not happy with the service at all. They would not give me the managers name, and we were hung up on three times. We ordered a pizza from Upper Crust and was told it would be about 45 min to be delivered. We called the first time after an Hr, and we were told our pizza just went out. We called a second time about 30 min after that, and then the lady asked us if we wanted to cancel our order (our pizza had not even been cooked yet). We did, and then called Apollos which took 30 min but at least they came. The only way I would recomend this pizza joint is if you went into the place and stood their and watched them cook your pizza with you own eyes. If you do not, you will just be as hungry as we were.

Editorial Review.
Florida edition of the popular Massachusetts chain serves thin-crust pizza with gourmet toppings like clams, feta cheese or portabella mushrooms.

Thin crusts, interesting choices for toppings, lots of flavor. This is your NOT Pizza Hut or Dominoes.
