Great waterfront view compliments the food and service.. Parrotdise has become a locals favorite and this reviewer stops in three or four times a week. They are now open 7 days with happy hour specials from 3-7 daily. Daily lunch and dinner specials compliment the varied menu items. The shark pond has been replaced with an expanded beach area and full food and beverage service is available "on the beach" as well as outside on the deck. The view across Pine Channel is, without question, the best anywhere from Marathon to Key West. Not to be missed is the Prime Rib on Saturday nights. The "sliders" are available with mini-burger pattys, fish, shrimp or buffalo chicken and a pile of crisp American fries. Cheese burgers and fresh fish sandwiches are generous as are the wraps. The cheese board is an excellent appetizer. Choose three gourmet cheeses from the available selections served with crackers and chilled grapes. Pair with a side salad and a chilled house wine for a lite summer lunch. This restaurant is to be commended for being squeeky clean and well appointed yet casual and fun. Ample parking, handicapped elevator and restrooms. Some patrons may find some of the menu items a bit pricey but quality, portions, view and service are worth a little more.
