I was very excited about going to Hawk?s Cay. The service was terrible. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The employees where extremely rude to us and we were very unsatisfied with our stay.

The Scene
Situated off the Keys between Marathon and Islamorada, this resort sits on 60 acres and includes an 85-slip marina. Five restaurants are complemented by a bar where President Truman once imbibed. The grounds contain five heated pools, eight tennis courts and a full-service spa. There is also a putting green on-site, and resort guests have privileges at the 18-hole Sombrero Country Club course, 11 miles away. A saltwater lagoon is home to seven dolphins.
The Details
The resort offers 269 villas in four styles, all with the amenities of a home. At 750 square-feet, the Bungalows are the smallest. The two-bedroom, two-bath Conchs come with optional spa pools. Cottages are a bit larger and include dens that sleep six. The largest villas, Marinas, are almost 1,700 square-feet. There are also 177 standard guest rooms and suites, all with balcony porches or decks. The property is both child- and eco-friendly with an educational infrastructure complete with trainers. Kids can learn about and play with the dolphins dockside. There's also a tree house, pirate ship and activities club. Adult offerings include swimming, snorkeling, parasailing, fly fishing, scuba diving, kayaking and water-skiing. Sailing and dive schools are located on-site.
